HERLÉO is a Canadian artist who boasts a strong foothold in the music industry. In music industry since 2004 and with three albums to his credit, he has performed hundreds of shows both in Canada and abroad for thousands of spectators. HERLÉO was a finalist in the 2009 Trille Or Awards in four categories, competing artists like Damien Robitaille, Groupe SWING, Konflit Dramatik and Tricia Foster. In 2011, he received the trophee for best album at the COCAN Awards. In the 2013 at the African Entertainment Awards in Toronto, he was nominated in the Best Male Artist category with some of the africain pop best names. Herléo is an artist at a crossroads. Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, he grew up in Canada, thus soaking up the two cultures, listening to various styles of music and continually evolving in two very different worlds. It is this dual identity that has made him who he is today, an artist of the Hip-Pop world, as he likes to define himself. He is unique and loves to transform North American urban music by adding flavors of world music like Congolese pop and Latin.
