About Travis Sinclair

Travis was raised in a little country town called Springhurst on Highway 31, Victoria. Growing up as a Sinclair meant 22 wheels, country music, and a daily injection of dieseline. Life was tough from a family point of view – Dad is a trucker and seemed to be away most of the time, so Mum and grandfather ‘Cannonball’ did what they could to help him grow.
His family has been in the transport industry for some 74 years so it was natural that he would follow, but his love for country music has always been strong and the desire to perform grew day by day.
Five years ago he began to sing and play, and after encouragement from the likes of Tania Kernaghan, he started doing gigs locally and interstate.
He was honored to be chosen to tour Australia with “The Man From Snowy River Arena Spectacular” as understudy to Lee Kernaghan for ten weeks in 2002.
Travis has had an amazing 2 1/2years since the release of his debut album ‘Rhythm Of The Highway’. The first seven singles released from the album have all been top ten hits and the eighth single “Travellin’ Light” is currently heading in the same direction.
His duet with Lee Kernaghan, “I’m From The Country”, was number 1 for three weeks on the Country Tracks Chart.
