Josh Rosenblum Band

Josh Rosenblum is a singer/songwriter from Modesto, CA. He performs his music both solo and with "Josh Rosenblum Band". Josh writes all of the words and music for the project, but each musician involved is encouraged to use the jazz-mindset of improvising their own part. The project started in Summer of 2007 when Josh began writing music for an acoustic duo with bassist, Andrew Melendez and the "Josh Rosenblum Band" was not founded until summer of 2008 when drummer, Cedric Jones joined. The band played as a power trio using various 4th member sit-ins, until Fall of 2010 when they met pianist, Elliott Dominguez. The band played as a quartet for 6 years and now plays mainly as a power trio or solo acoustic. All members of the band were students of Modesto City Schools music programs.
