Medicine Fish

Medicine Fish is a main artery that leads directly to the heart of rock and roll. Began in October 2011, Medicine Fish is the musical love/brain child of John Velsor, Julian 'Laserz' Maultsby, Ryan Griffin, and Jimmy 'The Hat' Messina, whose combined versatility and wide arrays of taste lead to a unique and uncommon mixture of elements. The group is capable of successfully accommodating every type of venue from the smallest quietest cafes to the largest loudest ballrooms, while seeming natural and right at home wherever they are playing. This band can rarely be summed up in a few words, and is noteworthy in their ability to successfully combine the wide-ranged elements of (among other things) folk, experimentation, reggae and of course... rock and roll. Their energetic and raw approach leads to the creation of a true original and honest act. Medicine Fish is a much needed reminder that music is human and so are we!
