DJ Mateo also known as "El Pollo" is a very well known Latin DJ in Australia he has lived in almost every capital city in Australia and performed as an interstate guest on many occasions his most recent stint in 2013 was in Brisbane and Gold Coast where he held many residencies and playing at all major concerts and latin events that were held in Brisbane and Gold Coast . He also enjoyed International tours in Indonesia and Singapore and offers from other countries within Asia and even in Europe and the United States . As a DJ he has experienced a lot of success and has now returned to Perth where he is now on his newest project which is where he plays and directs "Orquesta Yambeque" which is taking the Salsa scene in Perth by storm . He hopes to achieve similar or even bigger success with his new project . He has worked all over Colombia as a DJ and Percussionist and other parts of South America alongside some of the greatest artists to come out of Colombia , Venezuela Cuba and Puerto Rico .
