About Kaurna Cronin
Kaurna Cronin is a unique Australian singer-songwriter and folk-rock artist raised on the road as the child of a professional clown and a travelling textile artist. Now warming the hearts of audiences globally with his live band rooted in the acoustic origins of folk, he is a captivating entertainer who is always seeking to push his genre to new heights. He has a knack for intelligent and heartfelt lyrics in the tradition of folk troubadours who are storytellers first and foremost.
Cronin has been awarded the Folk Alliance Australia 'Artist Of The Year', was recently a nominee for 'Best Solo Artist' at The Australian Folk Music Awards, awarded the prestigious APRA-AMCOS 'Emily Burrows Award', 'Best Acoustic Act' at the Fowlers Live Music Awards, ARBA 'Roots Album of The Year' plus a South Australian Music Awards 'Live Music Award'.
With over 600+ European performances under his belt, Cronin's unique folk blend and moving performances have been wowing audiences throughout Europe and Australia.
