Azon Blaze

Benjamin "Azon Blaze" Ward is an American rapper and hip hop artist best known for his refreshing yet classic, feel good vibe. Don't let his small frame fool you- he demands attention when he enters the stage with his gritty, non-filtered lyrics that will turn heads. Azon was born November 5th, 1985 in Raleigh, North Carolina. He spent all of his life in the triangle area of North Carolina, until very recently, when he moved to Jacksonville, Florida to continue his career. Azon was exposed to and experimented with music his whole life, but only started recording seriously in 2001. Nine years later, "Blaze The Sky EP" was released with emcee partner and friend, SkyBlew (together: Blaze The Sky). He boasts an impressive total of seven solo projects so far, the latest one released in 2014; the "Spring Hill Compilation" which features a score of producers and artists such as D.R.U.G.S., Robot Orchestra, Poc-Logic, ScienZe and Azon's younger brother William Ward or W2. In 2010, Azon took the stage for the first time in Raleigh, NC, and has played almost 1,000 shows since, sharing the stage all over the country with incredible names like Kendrick Lamar, 9th Wonder, Slum Village and many more. Azon has dedicated his life to hip-hop, making his mark in the scene with his passion for underground and neck snapping, 95-style music. His affinity for lyrics and production is clear; he has made it his mission to connect with producers from all over the world he can create and grow as an artist with.
