Steve Menta

Steve Pimenta is a producer and an element of Lx Music crew since 2008. He’s been developing his work by creating a large and wide portfolio between melancholic house and dark techno. Also in 2008, comes out his first EP edited by the label “Troia Recordings”.

The first steps of Pimenta were taken side by side with LX MUSIC history and his work becomes upgrading by itself has he played next to international artists as Booka Shade, Oxia, Tiefschwarz, Dave Clark, Alan Fitzpatrick, Ambivalent, Joseph Capriatti, Gaiser, among others.

Parallel to his work in Portugal, Steve’s start to achieve some relevance outdoors, revealed by the support of several international artists as Paco Osuna, Cristian Varela or Nick Warren. His titles become edited all around the world with major relevance at countries like México and Brasil.

In 2014, Steve started a joint-venture with his friend Spikers by founding the project “Blackgoat” based on a techno wave made of acid and melodic lines in a dark ambience base.

After several events in Portugal and tours in Mexico, Steve is running around between Rio de Janeiro and Lisbon where he explore his own music with a repertoire based exclusively in his own productions, developing his experience and technique.

Nowadays Steve is proudly connected to his Label and to the project LXM10 years.
