Switchfoot

Awesome live performance band, sound better and 110% energy focused on the fans! They rock hard with California surfer groove and the lyrics and vocals are amazing! Third time seeing Switchfoot live over last fifteen years and they are even better than the first two shows. I highly recommend seeing them live to anyone!

Such an amazing show!! Saw them at The Norva in 2010 with me middle son. It has sent us on to become concert fanatics. My youngest added on a bit after that. We love SwitchFoot and were so excited they were doing the anniversary tour here! The band was great and came in to be with us fans a few times. Including climbing up to the top deck!!

The band sounded great as always! It was not their most ambitious set. They played the 11 tracks from “Beautiful Letdown” in “shuffle mode” (Jon Foreman’s words) and then added Stars, Oh Gravity, Dark Horses, and a 2-song encore of Float and Where I Belong to make 16 songs total. Their whole set, including the downtime before the encore and some lengthy monologues by Jon (which everyone loved ❤️) was only about 100 minutes. There were plenty of songs they could have added to the set. Especially considering that this is a 30th anniversary “walk down memory lane” it seems lacking to not throw in more of the favorites like Hello Hurricane, The Sound, Your Love is a Song, or Learning to Breathe. Having said that, this is one of the best bands of the last 30 years and they always deliver.o

For my first Switchfoot concert this one did not disappoint. The mix of songs from the brand new album combined with classic originals from the band were phenomenal, the lights and scenery used was a sight to behold that nothing will ever be able to recreate and the finale literally brought tears to my eyes the second Jon Foreman sung the first line of ‘Dare You To Move’, which instantly made it the best concert I’ve ever been to. Amazing concert, highly recommend people to check it out! I love you Switchfoot! ❤️

The Majestic Theatre is gorgeous and Switchfoot made it magical! Switchfoot is authentic in their lyrics and their interactions, staying completely engaged with the audience while delivering poignant, genuine songs and exceptional rock ' roll. I would upload photos but was completely locked in in the moment so no pictures were taken (and I'm not sad about that 😉).

5 stars. One of the best shows I’ve been too. Jon Foreman had great report with the crowd, making it a fun environment for the audience. He took time to shake each person’s hand that he came into contact with, and even went into the crowd for awhile at one point. He definitely had a lot of energy and got the crowd going. The band moved about the stage making it fun to watch, and even the lighting guy made this look like a million bucks.

Absolutely loved it! My friends thought I was weird for filming all of it but I was picking up bass technique from Tim Foreman (absolutely amazing bassist). So blessed that I was given a ticket day of by some friends. Everyone should go to at least one Switchfoot concert in their life. I loved every second of it.

It was amazing to watch the guys go down memory lane actually. To hear their stories about when they were young and starting out . I loved the story about Jon locking his keys in his V.W. bug and Chad helping him get them out from the "triangle" window. I had a 65 bug and knew exactly what he meant..Just watching their eyes light up when they were reminiscing. The old base that Tim brought out with all the stickers on the case. And ofcourse all the old songs. It just warmed my heart and soul to know these guys had been together playing for 25 years! How many bands are that close. None I know of. I love those guys. Glad they did this show.

Such a great show! The way they connect with the audience, especially Jon with full on crowd surfing, and the full band acoustic set in the middle of the crowd is really special. They rock, they mellow the Love like Jesus loves. And they embrace Boston their old home with honesty and a song with a rendition of “Sweet Caroline”. They give it all every night. God Bless Em’

Solid effort given John’s throat/voice problems. He pushed through it and the crowd gave home a boost. Kind of a bummer they opted not to do the acoustic set from the small stage. I’m being selfish because my seat was right there. They’ve developed such a deep catalogue of songs, they don’t have a “bathroom” break moment. Worth seeing.

I went just to see Tyson and Colony House. These two put on an amazing show and really got the crowd PUMPED. I’m not the biggest fan of Switchfoot, but they interacted well with the crowd and played songs that everyone knew and enjoyed. Overall a great time, especially getting a signed Vinyl from Tyson!

Incredible show! These guys just keep getting better with time. The new songs are incredible and the remix of We Were Meant To Live blows the old version away (and I loved the old version!) Jon Foreman charms the crowd with with his magnetic personality and enthusiasm for life. Andrew Shirley kills it on the electric guitar and Tim Forman owns the Bass. Chad Butler rocks the drums as always. last but not least Jerome Fontamillas is a wizard on the keyboard and also steps into the electric guitar. They form a tight well tuned band that only time and experience can create to look like they are completely enjoying themselves while the audience definitely is.

These guys continue to be in a league of their own! The musicianship is incredible – Jons vocals have only gotten better over the years. Always wanting more – if you have a chance to see these guys before they wrap things up they are an absolute must see. This is my fifth opportunity to see them and they never get old The guys have fun and therefore we have fun!

Everyone who was at that show, had to have had a glimpse of heaven. If they didn't, I'm sure they were blessed regardless and it was no accident that they were there. Switchfoot sounded better than their albums and I love how their hit songs have been tweaked and still get people excited , 20 years later. I saw little kids at a switchfoot show!!! I was so happy they got to experience that as switchfoot is on a hiatus and I remember how rare my first concert was with switchfoot. I remember how fun alivefest was last year with them, and I wasn't expecting a second year in a row and it was just as cool.

Absolutely the best concert I've been to (and I'm 50 and have seen everyone)! Great venue, small and intimate, but fantastic sound and lights. Come back to Dublin soon lads!!! I'm a new fan of the Alvarez Kings as well - crystal clear vocals and heat tunes. It's was a pleasure traveling through time with you all last night!!!

Amazing show! Switchfoot killed it, as usual. Brynn Elliott has an incredible voice and was a great opener for the bands and Lifehouse rocked! I had forgot how much I love their music. Both switchfoot and lifehouse have incredible lyrics, great vocals and awesome guitar! I'd highly recommend checking out this tour!

Switchfoot was great! I wish they could have sang more songs. I don't know much of anything about Relient K, but they were fine. I wish their set was shorter. The long line waiting to get into the show was poorly handled. They waited until we were at the door to tell us what we couldn't have on us. Really? We had been in line for 30 minutes. They couldn't send someone to the back of the line to say that 30 minutes ago? A lot of women had to go back to their cars because their purses were "too large." I didn't get to my seat until 40 minutes after the scheduled start time. I've been to a few other shows in that venue. Entrance has never been a problem.

It was spectacular. It was deeply moving. It was joyful. And it was blessed, because this band is so anointed. Switchfoot fans are incredibly blessed by this band and its magnificent music. And, not only is their music incredible, they really know how to put on a show, and they connect with their fans because of their sincerity and humility.

Unbelievable. Indescribable. Amazing. Switchfoot REALLY a believes what they sing. They don't sing TO you, they pour their lyrics INTO you. I felt uplifted and so inspired after the concert. AND they did an after show. Definitely worth the time and money. It's an experience I would re-live all over again!

Incredible. There's no other band I know of who are as authentic and down to earth as these guys. Their music being completely unique is a great touch as well! They played what their fans wanted, deviating from the planned set list. They just involved everyone like they were family. And I feel like their best friends.
