July Talk were so amazing live! Loved the energy and vibe, they played all of our favourites. We had such a great time, loved this venue too. The Brewery property is gorgeous, the drinks were fantastic, the food trucks were delicious. We danced under the stars and had the best night.

July Talk was awesome. Venue not very big with a pole directly in front of the stage. Hard to see performers at times. July Talk rocked it once again!

Love the band and the music but the sound levels were off and you couldn't really hear the vocals. As the show progressed they got Leah's sorted out but Peter was still washed out. I know it's a challenge because of his voice but hey, I've been to other concerts with similar singers and they worked it out so..... bass drum was insanely loud and responsible for a lot of the muddiness. Energy was good as always for these guys and they'll always have a spot in my playlist but no, for the Ottawa show the sound wasn't great.

The band's performance was amazing! Only issue was the vocals were mixed too softly in the mix, so when either Peter or Leah (especially Leah) were singing more softly, they were barely audible. Too bad too, because some of those songs really needed that subtlety.

They put on an amazing performance, great setlist and great venue - my issue for not 5 stars was the sound - not the venue but sound person was bad - could barely hear Peter sing half the time and Leah sound wasn't great either, music too loud over powering voices
Opening band crown lands was absolutely amazing!

4.5/5 stars Peter and Leah compliment each other very well visually, audibly and with their moves on stage. Love their performances. Both make you feel as if they are connecting with you and appreciate your presence. We were in the 1st balcony 2nd row. They have a great rapport with the audience. The band accessorizes them perfectly. My husband and I enjoyed all the songs. I couldn’t get tickets for the pre-COVID Massey Hall show. So lucky to get good seats this time.
The opening Act, Crown Lands sound a lot like Rush to me. My husband is more of a progressive rock fan than I am but I really liked their White Buffalo song. They are visually interesting, and I was so surprised they are from Oshawa and Whitby (my hometown.)
The only criticism we have is that the sound was not properly tuned to the system. My husband is a sound engineer but even I could hear the poor mix for both bands. Too much emphasis on base drums and base guitar. The vocals should have dominated and been clearer especially for Leah. Peter can be heard a little better because of the depth of his voice. Lead guitar could not be heard enough. We could not even distinguish or hear the saxophone which was so disappointing.
Regardless we would give this a 4.5/5 and will definitely go to see July Talk again. They were excellent!

So good! July talk is one of my favorite bands and they f****** killed it! Every single musician on stage was fabulous the energy was absolutely incredible, and I absolutely loved it! I was so glad that they came back to Portland I saw them a few years ago at the Doug Fir Lounge and I was stoked to see they're on tour and stopping in portland! Love love them so much, absolutely incredible! Do yourself a favor and go see them if you have the chance!

Fantastic show with a truly high-energy band that will rock your world. The Echo is a great little club in Echo Park with great parking just around the corner and a thriving nightlife to grab a bite after the show.
If you get a chance to see July Talk Live, GO!

They were AMAZING!!! Leah and Peter have such a unique stage presence. It was my boyfriends first concert and he was really impressed. So glad I got to check this off my bucket list!

July Talk is a great band to see live! Their performance is an experience, instead of a concert. The interaction between Leah & Peter on stage is electrifying to say the least. Go see them. You'll enjoy it!

This was my second time seeing JULY TALK and it is safe to say that they're one of the most entertaining rock and roll bands around. They're energetic, lively and personable. I would recommend anyone to go and see them. It really is an amazing time.

I'm biased as they are one of my favorite bands, but this was one of my all time favorite concerts and I've seen a few thousand shows. if there is one band you see all year, it should be July Talk.

Crowd was a little weird, but July Talk was so so good. It was my second time seeing them and they love what they do, they love you for being there, they're clearly having a blast. The openers Mona, and Adam Baldwin were really fun too. I can't wait until they come back.

A phenomenal show. July Talk has maintained its position as my favorite band, and secured itself there from their talent and energy. They can stand at the forefront of musicians by their talent, but the energy they bring in stage and their presence brings a special joy to their show.

Such and incredible night. July Talk is the best Live show in Canada. So good I travelled to the USA to see them 5 nights in a row in 5 states.
South Burlington, VT@Higher Ground Showcase
In my opinion the best live band in Canada right now. This was my 39th time experiencing the incredible chemistry between co-lead singers Leah Fay and Peter Dreimanis. The band is completed by the very talented Guitarist Ian Docherty, drummer Danny Miles and bassist Josh Warburton. Such a great show. I was in the front row and got to hold Peter up on the barricade while he whipped the crowd into a frenzy.

The band was energetic, charismatic, sexy, gracious, talented, and intimate! The groupies, however, were volatile and rude. I highly recommend the band but steer clear of the angry/drunk fans.
San Diego, CA@The Hideout
Great performance, they interacted with the crowd so much it was wonderful. Lost a half a star due to the worst crowd I have ever been in and because it started so late.
Winnipeg, Canada@Pyramid Cabaret
A truly awesome high energy performance. The mix of alternative and blues sound combined with occasional all punk riffs combine to make a unique vibe that I can only describe as sex meets rock n roll.
