The Ta Ta Destroyers

The Dead have Risen.. The Infection has taken over.. The Houma, LA based group The Ta Ta Destroyers are more than an act they are a movement. Let their infectious groove take you over. The Ta Tas formed in late 07 (ages 17-19) and continue to Infect Houma and surrounding areas with their music. The group released their first EP Zombies Ate my Neighbors in early 2008 and received much attention with only 3 songs. Not much longer after their EP release, The Ta Tas recorded their full length album The Rigor Mortis Shuffle late 08 and released in early 09. The much hyped Rigor Mortis Shuffle received many reviews from local news papers and websites and is currently being played on local radio stations. In pursuit to promote their album The Ta Tas played the festival SXSW in the summer of 09. Once 2010 came around the band slowed its momentum to really concentrate on their music, taking breaks from playing shows and making line up changes. 2011. This NEW sound from the The Ta Tas was recorded at Sunrise Records (same studio Sublime recorded their self titled) The album set to be released this summer. In support of their new album The Ta Ta Destroyers will set off on their first tour this summer. The Dead have Risen.. The Infection has taken over..
