About Ash Mountain
Ash Mountain is the name of Manchester songwriter Tim Scott's rotating band of musicians. Somewhat reinvigorated after recruiting the vocal and writing talents of singer Matt Jones in 2018, the now settled line-up released their 'Boom' EP in spring that year. Co-Produced & mixed by longterm collaborator Dave Scott (Oasis, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Tricky)
The band cite everything from The Stones and Dylan to Townes Van Zandt to Calexico as influences, it's great to hear a Manchester band who're willing to push the Americana-envelope without sounding dated or derivative.
