Kingslayer

Kingslayer was born when Heaven's Gate Gospel Revival (Chris Leone, James Shane, Michael Kidd, and Eryk Howell) wrote Red Tide. The song was a departure from the other originals and the band decided to pursue that direction while writing. It was obvious that this was a completely different style from all the old material, and vocalist Chris Leone needed to focus his energy and talent into only singing. After bringing in Lucas Cummins as a rhythm guitar player, Kingslayer began rehearsing and played in an opening slot for Primal Fear after three weeks as a band.
From there, Kingslayer's catalog and audience grew. People aren't used to hearing power metal anymore, and the more they hear the more they love it. After more than a year of hard work and playing shows with the original lineup, Mark Doss was brought in on lead guitar and the lineup as you know it was finalized.
