YaSeeDee is an Arabic Expression used as a warm way to greet friends and literally means: “Oh SIR”. YaSeeDee’s music can be best described as electro-rock with a Middle Eastern touch. The band was founded in Ferrara in northern Italy by the Lebanese Singer and composer Chadi Dalaty in 2006, when he chose to fuse his western and Arabic music backgrounds together. Incisive distorted guitar riffs, Arabic percussion grooves, electronic drum machines, traditional melodic Arabic and ethnic instruments, Synth. bass lines, electric Bass leaping from clean to pumpy and highly processed bass sounds combined together with Chadi’s chameleonic vocals, all represent YaSeeDee’s music. Since the debut in June 2006 at the famous TV show “Roxy Bar” conducted by Italian Talent Scout Red Ronnie, YaSeeDee have received great public response. They won first place at the Emergenza International Music Festival in 2009, becoming best Italian Band, and then represented Italy at the Taubertal Festival in Rothenburg Ob der Tauber Germany at the International final where they successfully finished in third position and opened “The National”’s Gig. -2009 YaSeeDee was invited as supporter to Italian Artist Vinicio Capossela at Meeting del mare Festival. -2009 YaSeeDee recieves the Award as best of LiveMi Band by Enrico Rugeri (X-factor Italy Jury) & Red Ronie in Milan. -2010 the band was selected to play in the heart of Milan City-Italy in Piazza Duomo during the Milano Loves Fashion week. -2010 YaSeeDee played a minitour in Moscow, Saint Petersbourg & Ivanova_Russia and in Summer played in Bochum Germany at Bochum Total festival. -in Spring 2011 YaSeeDee Wins a CD Recording at the Fujiko Live Show Contest' including Radio Plays and Gigs. -in December 2011 the Band opens the Show of Skin from “Skunk Anansie” in Ferrara Italy who described YaSeeDee as an Awesome project after assisting to Chadi’s band performance. -in April 2013 the song “Back to life” was featured in the Dance for Syria (charity compilation Project-Netherlands) online contest after resulting 2d top voted tracks on Talenthouse.com. -in february 2014 yaseedee’s song was nominated for the 1st Berlin Song Contest and it was performed for the first time live in April 11 at the contest’s semifinals and it will be performed again for the big Final at SchwuZ Berlin next April 2014. Currently YaSeeDee Lives and work on his project in Berlin Germany. To be continued....
