Sammy Kershaw

My mom loved the show that Sammy Kershaw at Peoples Bank theater in Marietta Ohio. She saw him at the Wheeling Jamber Lee long time ago and she said his show is outstanding. It made her feel young again. I recommend his show for anyone that loves traditional country with a little rock ‘n’ roll.

The Boots & Roots tour was such a fun concert. The energy between Sammy, Colin, and Aaron was amazing. I highly recommend attending.

This was a great concert. Sammy Kershaw, Collin Raye and Aaron Tippin were all amazing! They sang their hits and a couple covers. They were very entertaining and the Paramount was beautiful! I definitely recommend the Roots and Boots tour.

Sammy was excellent. Don’t miss it if you get an opportunity to go see him. He is a great singer and storyteller. We enjoyed it start to finish!

Sammy Kershaw was great. The weather was not great and they played as long as they could. While the band packed up he sang songs that the crowd asked for.

LOVED IT!! So fun!! Just wished for a longer concert!!Sammy, Aaron and Collin still have it going on!!! My dad was raised in Iota...near Sammy's home town! Loved that Cajun accent!!

Even though Sammy Kershaw couldn't make it because of health issues, Collin Raye and Aaron Tippin were awesome. Very high energy contributed to an amazing experience. They even sang a Sammy Kershaw song to close out their encore. It was my first time seeing them in person and they did not disappoint. I hope I can move like they do when I am their age.

Didn't hear many of his good songs. Too much talking in between songs. Best 2 were: Fighting side of me by Merle Haggard and Third Rate Romance. Maybe it was the sound system. Little disappointed

Sammy was amazing!! He sounded like he did back when he first recorded the hits that he sang. He sang the one song that means the world to my husband and I so that was just icing on the cake. I would encourage anyone, if you have a chance to see Sammy Kershaw in concert….do it!! As far as the venue, there was a lot of talking making it hard to hear him sometimes. The #1 problem I found is the places that were selling drinks, we’re not selling water…..why? I would love to see some water the next time I’m there. Overall, it was a very good concert, so glad to see Platte County bring country back. Country music is what brings the people in.

It was absolutely phenomenal!!!! Sammy was my very first concert with my father, who recently passed. It was a pleasure jam concert in the early 90s. Last night, we paid tribute to my Daddy by seeing Sammy love again!!!

Sammy put in a great show! The music and sound was spot on. He’s got a great band Best concert we’ve seen in awhile. Loved his stories too!!!

Absolutely incredible. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Add in Aaron Tippin and Collin Raye and it is an event worth going too.

What a great night! If I hadn't hurt my ankle I would have been standing by the stage all night! I like having a space and a seat. Great music from all 3 performers!

As always, Sammy did great. He is always fan friendly and does all he can do to make sure the fans are having a great time.

It was a special treat seeing Sammy as part of the R&B team! Sammy’s a great story teller and was surprised at all the hits. The Bowl’s a great place to enjoy an upfront and personal performance, I’ll be back and would pay good money to see Mr. Kershaw as headliner. Thanks for the memories!

Concert was very good. The venue sucked. Good job by Aaron and sammy and collin for doing a great show in such a crappy venue

Good concert in a nice small town American county fair atmosphere. He played for an hour & a half. Played most of his upbeat hits mixed with some new stuff. Would have liked for him to have played Honky Tonk America, Fit To Be Tied Down & One Day Left To Live, but with so many hits over the years I suppose he couldn't play all of them. He has a great stage presence, told some interesting stories, and his heartfelt tribute to his friend & colleague Gentry of Montgomery-Gentry who tragically died in a helicopter crash the same day as the show was very moving.
