Held in a section of the pub, around forty folk club members were treated to over an hour of Jackie’s music. Her first ever solo performance too! Although she was confined to a corner of the room, Jackie was a delight to watch and listen to. Her voice is so clear and pure, we thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

The event was great. Jackie Oares with John Wilkes was great from start to finish. Entertaining and with some great songs. A lovely event of English folk at its best.

Lovely songs and little bits of knowledge, excellent musicianship.
At points you could hear a different show in the background. Not performers fault but bit poor from everyman.
