Bio: Benjamin David Stubbings "Ben Stubbs" (born December 12, 1989) is an English singer-songwriter. Raised in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight, he spent two years in the Poitou-Charentes region of France, honing his skills as a musician and songsmith. In early 2012, Ben released an independent, home-produced extended play "Songs From Cherrytrees" incorporating much of his early original work. Upon returning to the UK, Ben focused on playing live as often as possible. Completing his record 32 gigs in August of 2013, he worked continuously to strengthen his stage presence and ability to adapt to the requirements of his audience. He also took part in Competitions, earning renown among south coast Radio DJs and Music Magazines, including BBC Introducing, who featured his song "Up In The Clouds" on national radio. To date, Ben Stubbs has been booked to play at Isle of Wight Festival three times and has opened the Parade Village Stage on the Friday of Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week 2014.
