Owenstone

The music of Owenstone doesn’t sit still on one sound. Probably because of the varied places the songs have been written; airports, a Los Angeles basement storage unit, a fishing boat, public parks, underground train cars, or on a notepad at another band’s show. Before there was a band, frontman Nathan Owen gathered inspiration from many places, while doing many other things. Like: playing occasional roles as an indie actor, designing and building film sets, lending his voice to Japanese animations, and pursuing countless random adventures. The debut album released in 2014 enjoyed placements in several film soundtracks, accompanied by tours up the west coast, SXSW, and Desert Daze Music Festival. Owenstone will release four new songs, once a month starting Summer 2016, coinciding with live performance parties at Nathan Owen's LA studio, Headquarters. www.owenstone.com
