About Prhyme Rhyme Boss

Biography
Trenton Anton Davis (born December 29th, 1987) is an American hip-hop recording artist/songwriter from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Born at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ypsilanti. Born to parents of African American decent.

Growing up on Ann Arbor's westside of the city displayed both the pros and cons for the young MC raised primary by his mother. Struggling with low income, Davis began writing and recording with elder brother Kendall (K-$) whom would also spend time with their father in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he spent summers and some elementary school. As a child they would spend time growing up in Minneapolis, Ann Arbor, Detroit and Canada. Doing the best she could to keep a single parent, trouble was often hard to avoid. Despite performing well in academics and athletics Davis is simply a product of his environment. Run-ins with authorities and school officials would lead to probation for the young teen. Davis would spend his freshman year of high school in and out of the court system.

Chrome Star Records (CSR) began in 1999 along with Eric Hall (Lil -E) in Pinelake Cooperative, one of Ann Arbor's primarily African American neighborhood communities. An entrepreneurial vision of an independent record company, held at such a young age would hold promise. At age, 11 Davis would make his audio debut with three appearances on Chrome Star Records first release: K-Money "Life in the Deuce Vol.1" (1999). As they continued to draw genuine support and love from the community, a spark of inspiration was created.
So much so, Chrome Star Records was re-launched by Davis in 2013.

Performing shows as early as 2003 with then group Seven Tre Quad, with the help of The Ann Arbor Neutral Zone a diverse, youth-driven teen center founded in 1998, dedicated to promoting personal growth through artistic expression, community leadership and the exchange of ideas. This would open the doors for Davis to network with music and art contacts. In 2003, Seven Tre Quad was created along with Donell Mercer (Verbal Trintiy), Aareus Ashford (Mercury), Dillon Page (Young Fathah), Neal Glover (Apollo/Rook), Donovan Jenkins (Jukebox).
