Amp + Deck

Amp + Deck are Kevin Macey + Joe Lye Born out the basement of a Hackney house where one resided, they began hosting after-parties at every given chance. With a plethora of exotic records from disco oddities, psychedelic folk/funk through to house records old and new they soon became the go to guys for dance parties in and around London. A chance arose to run their own monthly party at one of Hackney's late night pubs The London Fields, still going strong 3 years later. Not content with just one monthly party, the boys were approached by other venues around east London for other one off nights. Parties at The Book Club and Stoke Newington's – The Waiting Room attracted sell out crowds and saw a number of guests joining them, including Phil Mison, Psychemagik, and more recently Nick the Record. Summer 2013 saw the boys debut at 'We Love Sundays' in Space - Ibiza, playing twice alongside local legends Alfredo & Jon Sa Trinxa for David Phillips (Lo Cura Lounge) in the El Salon. They also curated their very own parties on the island at Boutique Hostel Salinas and in September 2013 were invited onto Ibiza's Sonica Radio 'Sunset Sessions' at Kumharas and were also special guests on Andy Wilson's Balearic lunchtime show. 2014 will see Amp+Deck back on the white isle for more Balearic dance offs, and a new bi-monthly party in London with some of their own productions in the pipeline to accompany.
