aktivate (aka Khaled Chilwan) is a Techno DJ based in Bahrain. His love for music began at a very early age; and as far back as he can remember, he has always been drawn to music that isn’t mainstream.

His musical style is fresh and futuristic, blurring the lines between emotional and electrifying. He believes in taking the listener on a journey and works hard towards creating sets that explore different ranges of emotions. Balancing between melancholy, exuberance, and joy while telling a story, Khaled offers a unique listening experience. His sets are weird and wonderful and leave the audience wanting more. He is constantly working towards being better at what he does and looks forward to more opportunities to hone his skill.
