Born Katherine Coffman, as both a writer and preacher, Oraia has fused her gifting into a powerful creative tool through the art of “Spoken Word.” This unique anointing has given Oraia a distinct voice, not only within the body of Christ, but far beyond. Her message has torn down walls of cultural and racial division and is gripping the hearts of young men and women from every walk of life. Oraia was a featured artist on the acclaimed MISFIT Tour 2011 and has been honored to minister at an extensive collection of diverse churches and venues such as The Potter’s House of Dallas, TX, Mercy Ministries events in Nashville and San Francisco and Teen Mania’s “BattleCry” and rallies in New York and Dallas multiple times. Her media appearances include JCTV’s “Top 3” and CBN's "Turning Point". She has served as the Producer for Youth Explosion Ministries in New York City where she serves under the leadership of Pastors Michael and Chris Durso of Christ Tabernacle (www.christtabernacle.org).
