Ahhh, Frampton Comes Alive! I remember how huge that live album was and the heavy airplay it got. Every time I hear a song from the album it takes me back to another time in my life when things were fun and exciting, hanging with friends and living life. But back to the concert….The cool thing about the visual backdrop at the start of the concert is that it shows Peter at a young age, and I think the audience can all relate, as we lived through the same times. Then a quick glance around the theater and then you realize it’s 50 years later, the hair is grey, (if there is any), people move slower, but the one thing that remains is the music, it’s still the same great music and we are transported back to our youth. The first time we ever saw Peter in concert was in 2011 for the 35-year anniversary tour of the live album, although we have enjoyed his music since the mid-seventies. I think this is show was the fifth time we have seen him in varying venues. One thing I can say is that this was one of the best concerts we have ever seen, the venue is outstanding, the sound was dynamic and clear, the visuals and lights were interesting but not overwhelming, and they added to the experience rather than smothered it. Peter was engaging on stage and interacted with the audience as if we were in his living room. I know it must not be easy putting on a show when you are dealing with medical issues, so I really applaud him. Peter, Hopefully God blesses you and keeps you healthy, enough to play, we need to hear you! Again, I can’t say enough good things about the evening, we thoroughly enjoyed it!

I had a wonderful time. It was my first time seeing him in concert and he did not disappoint. It was well worth the 4 hour car ride to Memphis. I hope to see him again for the 50th anniversary of Frampton comes alive, if that happens. My only disappointment was when purchasing my tickets I thought I was getting the best seats available only to arrive and see rows and rows of empty seats. Not sure if it was scalpers or businesses, but it was sad to see a great artist performing to far too many empty seats and wishing I could have had the chance to purchase the seats nearer to the stage.

Our Peter Frampton Concert Experience Peter Frampton is a legend — it’s incredible how he can still captivate a crowd after all these years. When he played “Baby, I Love Your Way,” the entire crowd sang along, lights in the air, and Frampton’s voice carried beautifully through the venue. It was, and always will be, an unforgettable moment. Seeing a legend like Peter Frampton live for the first time is something my wife and I will never forget. 🎶 And when he launched into “Do You Feel Like We Do,” the energy in the place was electric! 🤘 Hearing that iconic talk box live was absolutely unreal — one of those moments where you can feel the music running through everyone. What an amazing night!

What a fantastic show! The venue was clean and convenient, although parking was a bit expensive ($25). There were no opening acts and he came out at 7:45. He was walking with a cane due to his recent muscular issues, but he took his chair and was extremely energetic and spot-on amazing right off the bat. I loved that the backing band also sat with him. There were very interesting photos on the screen behind him and cool graphics. He was funny, interesting and just seemed so down to earth. His band was perfectly in sync with him and they expertly covered his vast library of hits. I brought my 26 year old daughter, who grew on up on rock music, and she really enjoyed the show. I joked that she was probably the youngest person there, but we spotted a 10ish year old there as well. I hope he keeps touring as I could love to go see him again!!

Peter's show was terrific, and it's the little things that show through. His phrasing on solos, his connection with the band, his love of music and genuine connection to the audience. He was my next-door neighbor about 25 years ago in downtown Cincinnati, and we met the first time on a Sunday morning while he was taking out the trash. He was just as friendly waiting for the elevator as he was this past Saturday night. One day, my son in kindergarten asked him, "hey mister, are you really a rock star?" to which he smiled and replied "I prefer to think of myself as an elder music statesman". Thanks Peter for the showed in your hey-day and the many shows that I've seen you in since!

Great show as always. Peter is one of the very best guitarists out there. The best of the best! His voice is great as a young man of 25 years old. His band is great also and they are great compliments to each other. I have seen him several times and he is always great. That is great that he is out there entertaining us in his current medical condition.His show lasted over 2.5 hours with no breaks and the sound level was perfect. I truly believe that Peter is a very caring compassionate person also. Vote for him to be in the Rock Hall of fame . Peter Frampton should have been in the rock hall 40 years ago. Go see him you won’t be disappointed at all!

An absolute privilege to see one of the great guitar players one more time. He played for a solid 2 1/2 hours to a sold out crowd at the Mission Ballroom in Denver. Despite having to stay seated for the entire show (he made good fun of that several times), he was able to play and sing as well as ever. Frampton possesses the rare ability to story-tell with his guitar. His ability to set a tone, build tension and release is comparable to Beck, Santana, SRV and Hendrix. He never got the credit he deserved but his fans adore him and always will. Hopefully, he gets into the Rock and Roll HOF this year, he deserves to be there. The Mission is a fantastic spot to see a show. The bars and restrooms are built into the walls of the auditorium so you rarely miss one minute of the show. The only thing missing from last night is that Peter didn't play one number from his latest (excellent) new album "Frampton Forgets the Words". I'd have given the show 6 stars if he did. ;)

The State Theater itself is a moderate sized venue for a rock concert, and it’s beautifully designed and maintained, so I felt it was a great place to enjoy the Frampton show. Peter Frampton himself is a gifted guitarist and vocalist, now nominated for the Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame. Since his introduction to fame in the ‘70’s with “Frampton Comes Alive,” he’s been making music, performing and recording ever since. So- last night’s show—AMAZING!!! Not only was Peter just phenomenal, along with his fabulous band, including his band leader, Rob Arthur, from Minneapolis!!!!! But Peter was so incredibly intimate with his stories including photos from his family, his past, and many very funny moments with the audience. He played for almost three hours and the show grew in momentum with every song. When you thought it couldn’t get any better it just rose above the top and the crowd just exploded. All I can say is it’s a night I will never EVER forget! Thank you, Mr. Frampton.

Peter Frampton was on fire! His IBM diagnosis has not slowed him down or changed his fantastic guitar playing one bit! Although he performs seated now (as is the rest of his band) he gets so into the music it's a wonder he doesn't fall off his chair! The Mayo Performing Arts Center was a perfect venue for the show, not a bad seat in the house! Peter pulled out some fabulous lesser-known tunes, some bluesy stuff, his fantastic instrumental rendition of Black Hole Sun, hits from his days with Humble Pie and his soaring version of While My Guitar Gently Weeps. A total highlight of the night was when Peter introduced the son of his longtime bandmate and friend, Bob Mayo, who passed away while on tour with Peter in 2004. Greg Mayo is a phenomenal musician in his own right, starting off a tour as part of Daryl Hall's band. But last night at the Mayo Performing Arts Center, Mayo was on keyboards again, playing his dad's part on Baby, I Love Your Way. For any true Frampton fan, this was an extraordinary moment. I've seen Peter Frampton in concert many, many times over the decades, and the show on 3/13/2024 was definitely one of the best!

I saw Peter Frampton 40 years ago at Madison Square Garden. The show he put on last night was a million times better. It was sad at first to see Peter with a cane, but once he sat down he was the singer and performer we remember from decades ago. While most artists at later years move the key down a few steps to make the high notes - Peter Frampton sang as if he was 25 and played with expertise and dexterity that many younger players only dream of. His stories, stage presence and musicianship shined through the entire show, along with the other musicians on tour with him.Thank you Peter for not giving up because you brought me back to a simpler and more innocent stage of my life - I will always remember this performance.

Fabulous. I had waited for this day to come for such a long long time. Have been a fan of Peter’s since my early Teens. Had once booked a Concert locally within the UK, but this was unfortunately cancelled. But my attendance at The Victoria Hall was well wort the wait. It was a fantastic evening from start to finish. As Sir Frampton has always been an idol of mine, he was placed on the top of my bucket list and with this choice now achieved, I live in hope that he will return to these shores once again to complete my double wish. What he and his band gave to the audience on that evening was truly magical. My only wish now is that I get to see him live once more. Well done Mr F. You are a STAR IN MY EYES. My you long continue to “Shine On” in this World of ours. All the best for your future.

Last night I had the pleasure of experiencing an epic two and one-half hour performance by the legendary Peter Frampton and his band at the historic Arlington Theater in Santa Barbara, California. The setlist included included all of his major hits from the "Frampton Comes Alive" era, some of his earlier solo work with Frampton's Camel, his blues album, and finished up with several classics from his time in Humble Pie. At the age of 73, Mr. Frampton still has the chops of an elite level guitar player, singer and composer. He has surrounded himself on this tour with musicians of the highest caliber. One of the highlights of the show was a guitar duel between Peter and his back-up guitarist Adam Lester. Other highlights included his instrumental rendition of the Chris Cornell/Soundgarden song "Black Hole Sun", as well as Hoagie Carmichaels' "Georgia". Throughout the show montages of photographs spanning the different phases of his career and collaborations with other music luminaries like David Bowie scrolled in the background. Between numbers Peter shared the stories behind the songs he was about to perform. He was funny and engaging obviously enjoying being back on stage once more. At the conclusion of the show he and the band received a sustained and much deserved standing ovation. All in all, a night to remember!

Peter Frampton still plays guitar with soul, heart and execution. I think his voice still holds up well and his band is up to the task of performing a 2 hour show and entertaining at a high level. Peter has a few sarcastic zingers he will throw out to the crowd for fun. We watched 4 folks come in during the second song to sit in the first row. Peter jokingly commented off the cuff "little problem with the parking on the way in". Just a great entertainer and real perdon. Tributes to the former bass "balls of the band" John Reagan during Lines on my face and Chris Cornell for Black Hoke Sun were fitting. Frampton is a master at his craft and anyone that has not seen him should. We pray for his health status and future. We wish he could tour forever. Rock Hall needs correct their error and induct this legend.

I have had the pleasure of seeing Peter Frampton perform numerous times including his Farewell concert at Red Rocks but last night’s show in Bethlehem was incredible. He dug deep in the archives and played songs off his early albums and also mixed in his hits. While he may not be able to stand up to play any longer due to his disease process, he has not lost an ounce of talent playing guitar and singing. Incredible band, great moments of humor during audience interactions and hoping he will do Never Say Never 2.0 if he is able. This is a show not to miss! The guitar jams were memorable! Thank you Peter for a magical night!

PROMOTERS..can we stop putting our older celebrities with recent health problems out to play in the heat? Peter could have played inside Ruth Ekard Hall. Maybe 2 shows if necessary. It was 90+ degrees out. This happened to Chris Holmes on the Monsters of Rock Cruise as well.There were lots of indoor venues on the ship. He got put out at the pool at noon. Lots of people their age in the crowd too Many can't cope with the heat very well either. Peter had a air conditioner blowing at him..but he said it didn't help. Please start considering this. People like this are more at risk for heat stroke. I'd like to see them treated with more consideration.

In a word, the show was wonderful! Pete came on the stage, sat down, and played for over 2 hours. My impression was that he and his band were thouroghly enjoying themselfs with all of the smiles and looks at eah other. A nice tough was their homages to diceased musicians and it seemed that Pete holds a special place for George Harrison and David Bowie. HIs band was excellent...every one of them...with a special call out for the drummer, keyboards, and 2nd guitar. I was very suprised that his voice and playing were just lile 1976 which took me back to a 14 year old boy hearing Frampton Comes Alive on the loud speakers of the local swimming pool club.

I would start by calling this show bittersweet. Peter Frampton, along with the others in the band, are extremely talented and a joy to see perform live. I'm sure we all wish Mr. Frampton the best with his health. He clearly loves what he does and it send as though that's being taken away from him. As I stated, it's wonderful watching him as he performs. You can see the joy in his eyes as he plays for a crowd of his fans. I hope his situation changes for the better. If not, Red Rocks is one hell of a venue to see him for one last time. I'm grateful to have been apart of the experience 🙂

It was great! We had seen Frampton in Catoosa on the opening night and loved it. Decided to go to the Red Rocks because we had never been and what a performer to go to for the first time there (also took our 13 year old grandson for his first PF concert)... I've personally seen Peter Frampton at least a dozen times since 1979 and he never fails to put on a great show. We were just thankful that it was not cancelled due to the weather because we traveled from the middle of Kansas! Just praying that some day Peter can continue to play and this will not be his final tour! By the way, our grandson rated this performance and we agreed. God's blessings to you Mr. Frampton! The first time I saw Peter Frampton LIVE here in the desert WAS THE YEAR 2006 when he played @ the Mc Callum theatre in Palm Desert. I have seen him in DVD’’S like the one called LIVE IN DETROIT and I never stopped watching him play every year when he’s here. I have been a fan of Peter ever since that FRAMPTON COMES ALIVE album was released many years ago. It is a dream come true for me to be given this opportunity to him play LIVE. More power to your music Mr. Frampton and your band. I will always remain a fan and a follower to your amazing group forever.
