About Anchors Alive
Anchors Alive started in February of 2011, founded by vocalist Alex McCoy and drummer Tyler Clancy. Joined by guitarist Brandon Russell, the writing process of the band initiated. Since the formation of the band, there had been several roster changes until the final line-up was established and solidified in June 2011. Joined by Rey Ochoa on bass and Kyle Adams as the second guitarist. Anchors Alive is greatly influenced from post-hardcore and hardcore genre's. Aside from the musical influence, Anchors Alive is motivated by living life to the fullest, with a positive outlook, which in-turn became the niche for their writing. Let's make a difference.
