Big Hook

Big Hook is a blues and roots rock duo from Virginia. Their lineup currently consists of Don DeWolf and Chad Page, who have a great stage chemistry and extended musical background both together and solo. Their repertoire consists of hard-hitting, soul-driven blues numbers by artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Muddy Waters, The Blues Brothers, ZZ Top, and many more. They also have a lineup of originals ready to be heard!

A bit about the members:


Don - Don is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter known for his unorthodox southpaw playing style and gritty vocal technique. Having played in and written for several bands across several genres, as well as having years of engineering experience, Don is a force to be reckoned with. Although he has ability on almost every instrument, he prefers to lay low in the pocket on bass and come out in leads on the harmonica.

Chad - Chad is a flexible and innovative musician in his own right, creating his own style of blues- and jazz-oriented guitar technique. From being the main attraction of the UMW Jazz Band to a guitar-for-hire across the state, his soulful playing is well-known and is the bread and butter of Big Hook's music.
