The Pheromones

The Pheromones are a boogie rock band who derive their sound from classic rock, funk, and blues. Musical influences and styles include The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and The Who. This San Diego band self-produced their first EP release in 2007, and have been gigging in the area ever since. The Pheromones have played all around Southern California, bringing their boogie sound to venues like the Tiki, the 710 Beach Club, RT's Longboard Bar and Grill, Canes, and the Whisky a Go Go.All members of the band are college graduates, coming from San Diego State University and The University of California, San Diego. The Pheromones are driven by a punchy and energetic rhythm section, with powerful midrange vocals and an overdriven bluesy lead combining to bring fresh, original music to the world.
