Atlas Forge

In 2010, longtime friends, drummer Larry Boyd and guitarist Tony Patello were at a modern rock concert of a nationally touring band when they decided that the musicianship was horrible and that they could form a band that would meld great musicianship with strong song writing and a loyalty to classic metal. The search for other musicians began and Larry had just seen his younger cousin Mitch Duda playing bass with another band, and asked him to join the band. The band initially had diffuculties securing a singer, and Tony handled the vocals for a period before Dave white joined the band. Dave stayed with the band for a period of time before a change was made and current singer Joey Torres joined Atlas Forge. To date, the band has released a four song demo, opened for nationally touring acts such as Faster Pussycat, Saving Abel and Don Dokken, while playing many of the esteemed venues in the Pittsburgh area.
