Damngivers

The Damngivers are a roots rock flavored band fronted by lead singer and writer Gerry Gomez. They have good hooks, simple song structures, folky & introspective lyrics and can flat out rock, whisper, or jam - along with induce lasting memories. Their music is familiar, rootsy and comfortable. Gerry Gomez's songs reflect his desire to form a more perfect union between his social, personal & political leanings. The package is delivered with a sonic pallet similar to AM- era Wilco, Ryan Adams, The Replacements and Neil Young. A staple on the LA Roots music scene, Damngivers 2015 release "Everything's Jake" was included in some critics best of 2015 list in the Americana and Roots genres.
