Slatsher

Slatsher prend forme en 2007 au sein du collectif de Moncel dans la ville de Jarny (54). Yan Binot le guitariste rythmique s’entoure de Mickael Froeliger à la batterie, Nicolas Menu à la basse et Rémi Gemelli au chant. En 2010 Hugo Florimond vient compléter le line up et restera par la suite un des éléments essentiel au sein du groupe. Fin 2012 Nicolas décide de continuer sa route sur d’autres projets musicaux, alors que le groupe prépare la sortie de son premier album « Human Light Leakage ». En mai 2013 l’album fait son apparition dans le milieu du Death Metal Progressif Français, le groupe commence à trouver son public. Une série de lives commence sur différentes scènes prestigieuses de la région Est. Ayant l’expérience de la scène aux côté de groupes comme X-Vision, Black Bomb A, Deep In Hate, Smash It Combo, Sepultura, Gorod, Atlantis Chronicles ou encore Modern Day Babylon, leur prestation convainc un public grandissant de jour en jour. Les dates marquantes de 2012 à 2015, une présence sur les scènes du Plein Air de Rock à Jarny(54) 2012, de Sonisphere Off à Amnéville en 2013, et durant l’année 2014 : Au Totem de Maxéville(54), au Millenium d’Haguenau (67), aux Trinitaires de Metz (57), et au Gueulard + de Nilvange (57), … Ces dernières années ont vu la succession de deux bassistes Adrien Landuren et Eddy Luce. En 2015, en vue de la composition de leur nouvel album, Slatsher accueille Dimitri Kurzepa à la basse afin de stabiliser le groupe vers une technique de plus en plus exigeante. Slatsher is a french « Atmospheric / Progressive Death-Metal » band founded in 2007 in Jarny (France), originally formed by Yan Binot (guitar), Mickael Froeliger (drums), Nicolas Menus (bass guitar), soon after Rémi Gemelli (vocals) joined them. The band has played many gigs, with headliners like : ETHS, LOFOFORA, MASS HYSTERIA, and ULTRA VOMIT. Three years after, Hugo Florimond joined the band as second guitar. In June 2010 they played at the Jarny Open Air , with Black Bomb A, Bukowski, and Le Bal Des Enragés, then they recorded a four tracks EP in july. They get a more professional turn of their music, influenced by bands like Meshuggah, Gojira, The Faceless etc... Into a vein Atmospheric Death Metal, their compositions express the power and melodies. They shared stage of PhizikFest with the brutal death band from Paris : DEEP IN HATE. In 2012, they opened for SEPULTURA, at nineteenth Jarny Open Air, with Bukowski and X-Vision. They will record their first album, on summer holidays 2012 with Flavien Morel(member of band : Benighted Soul). In December 2012, all the band decided to build a Label : SPHERES RECORDS to do the promotion of this album : HUMAN LIGHT LEAKAGE.
