Sunny Jackson

I have been singing and performing all my life but never more serious than I am now. I was always center stage in high school chorus and band and then again in college band and choir. After college I joined a local band and performed classic rock and country songs all over the state of Nebraska. I took a break from music for 9 years when I got married and had my two beautiful children. During this time, I focused on being a great teacher. I have taught Health, PE, and FCS classes for 14 years now in the public education setting in Nebraska. Every year I talk to students about the importance of following your dreams and not limiting yourself to careers that are "practical" and easy while all along dreaming of being back on stage. A dramatic change of events in my recent past have set me on a new path to following my dreams - not only for me, but also for my two children and for all those students who I encouraged to follow their dreams. The kids have all inspired and encouraged me all these years and it's time I do something about that! So, here I am! Dreaming big and enjoying the hard work that may some day lead to dreams coming true. I started a band in 2012 and have been working on learning new songs ever since. We can play everything from the old country and rockabilly hits to the current hits of today in rock and country genres. We even add in a little blues and some great hits from the big hair bands of the 80's and 90's. We're here to have fun! Hope you are ready...
