Brook grew up with country music in his blood, inspired by his father’s record collections including Hank Snr, Cash, Haggard, Jennings as well as country rock n roll icons Buddy Holly and Jerry Lee Lewis. His love of guitar started at 17, which has expanded an impressive guitar collection.
Brook, a songwriter at heart, loves the search for the melody, the hook and the soul of the song. Brook, best known as the frontman and driving force behind his band, The Brook Chivell Band, has come to make his own way in the Australian country scene as a talented solo artist in his own right.
