About Pat Byrne

Pat Byrne
“When you combine the transcendent poetry of Bob Dylan with the gritty, real-world rock-n-roll storytelling that Bruce Springsteen made so famous, and then add a dash of the political activism embodied by Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger, you’ll have Irish singer-songwriter Pat Byrne”

What fans are saying
Pat Byrne put on a flawless sold-out show!
From playing his newest song to ending with an old classic from a Robert Burns’ poem, he gave the audience a mix of powerful songs. He sang personal songs, a tune about a worm , a tribute to Chris Gage , and a song for his Mam. The audience had devoted fans and some people who were just discovering his talent. All were excited to have Pat Byrne back in Austin!
The Rosette is a very groovy venue!

Pat’s Irish energy and ability to tell a story on stage set him apart!! He brought a couple of good friends with him and they had a rip-roaring good time and so did we. Looking forward to seeing him again at E-Town in Boulder on the 15th as his Trio.

This was a great show and a great venue. This was our 3rd time seeing Byrne in four months (Jan in Rosemary Beach FL @ 30A SWF, 1st time seeing him), Austin's Saxon Pub in February, and here - we told him I guess this makes us groupies). This venue was a revelation - the owner bought this 200+ year old Grist Mill and completely refurbished it into an Arts center, featuring music (they had a songwriters workshop three weeks ago), writing workshops, and more. Recommend seeing Pat and definitely a trip to Baltimore County and Monkton for a getaway (you can cycle the Torrey G Brown multi-use trail or fish or float in the Old Gunpowder Falls river) or go visit some horse farms.
