About Joey Allen
Joey grew up across the country, from California to Western, New York. He’s proud to have been brought up by a veteran of our beloved country. But he wasn't always playing it tough. Joey received classical training at the Hochstein School of Music and Dance as a child. His singles "Save Me" and "Crazy" have been played on Rochester, NY's local country music station, WBEE 92.5FM. Each of these tracks have been welcomed by the local music scene. Joey entered the 2013 Texaco Country Showdown, where he tied for second place at the local competition held at Frost Ridge Campground in Le Roy, NY. He has been compared to the likes of Chris Young, Montgomery Gentry, Brantley Gilbert etc. Joey brings the values of old school country and modern "Rock" together to form a sound that will keep you coming back for more. His main goal is to create good country music that people can relate to. Joey appreciates each and every one of his fans as he sets forth on this kickass country journey.
Background on the guys:
Jae's Bio - He is the 3rd generation in his family to play the drums. When he was in 3rd grade he was given his first drum set as a x-mas present. From that point on he never looked back. His father started him off by showing him songs by the Beatles, 3 dog night, and other rock classics. Jason soon after started playing along with the radio and learning songs by ear. In high school he played in some local bands that were regulars in the local clubs. After high school Jason continued playing at local clubs and he branched out to music scenes in near by cities. His main influences are bands and drummers like Primus (Tim Herb), Tony Royster jr, AeroSmith, BonJovi, Led Zeppelin, 311, Incubus, Dredge, rage against the machine, avenged seven fold, ani difranco, Eric Church, Brad Paisley and many more. Jason uses DW and Premier Drums, Sabian and Zildjian cymbals, Evans heads and Promark 747 sticks.
Jim's Bio - He began playing guitar at age 12 after hearing Black Sabbath. That drove him to start taking private lessons for one year. Then he began playing in local bands at the age of 15 in his hometown of New Jersey. His musical influences range from Johnny Cash to the Bad Brains. Diverse guitarists such as Wes Montgomery, Danny Gatton, Jeff Beck, Brad Paisley and SRV fuel his passion and dedication to his instrument. James uses Marshall amplification, Fender guitars and Line 6 effects processors. His choice of strings are Ernie Ball 9's. Jim uses a combination of Dunlop picks and finger picking.
Dan's Bio - New to the Rochester area as a performer Dan's Music career has spanned more years than he likes to admit! Dan grew up around Bluegrass and Country music with ventures into R&B, Classic Rock, and folk. His enthusiasm for the Bass guitar doesn't always show on his performance face but he loves providing the solid bottom for the band with occasional flurries of fun riffs.
