Dj MrKool

Born in 1973, Dj MrKool started at 16 years old playing music in bars and discos around Portugal, learning with great Portuguese DJs such as Miguel Simões, Rui Remix e Dj The Fox aka Pantaleão, among others…

With more than 27 years of experience in animation and djing areas, the dj has a huge musical culture in many styles, like 80’s and 90’s, Portuguese Music, Rock and Heavy Metal.

MrKool is a versatile DJ and very attentive to the public, always with the intention of giving a great musical party in your event. That “reading capability” made him resident Dj from “Kadoc Disco” (Vilamoura, Portugal) for 13 years, resident Dj of the university bar “BA – Bar da Associação” (Faro, Portugal) for 10, and 6 years resident Dj of the Portuguese heavy metal festival “Vagos Open Air”.

Dj MrKool is an experienced speaker, he is the presenter of the International Motomeeting from Moto Club of Faro (Portugal), the presenter of the Academic Week from Algarve University and former speaker from the Portuguese Football Federation, the Portuguese National Squad, the Portuguese Handball Federation and current speaker from the Festival F (Faro).

Nowadays, the Dj works as a freelancer dj and event producer, he shared stages and performances with DJ’s like Nick Corline, Fat Boy Slim, Carl Cox, David Guetta, Christian F, Rui Remix, Miguel Simões or King Bizz, and with bands like Xutos & Pontapés, Mata-Ratos, Tara Perdida, Os Dias da Raiva, Da Weasel, Testament, Lacuna Coil, Gojira, Overkill, Kreator, Opeth, or Behemoth (among others…).

He is the current stage Manager from the “Freshman’s Reception” Party from Algarve University, coordinating stages with bands like Buraka Som Sistema, Diabo na Cruz, and Dengaz, among others…
