Beyond Visions Biography Beyond Visions is a metal band from Stockholm, Sweden formed in 2007. The band consists of Rebecka Heijel, Alexander Berg, Ludvig Garnås and Erik Forsberg. The band’s first contact was when guitar player/songwriter Sauli Ranta and singer Rebecka met at 7-eleven where Rebecka worked in 2005. Sauli would come in and buy cigarettes from Rebecka from day to day and eventually they started talking and found out they shared an interest in music. Two years later they decided to start a band - Beyond Visions. They started to jam and record a few songs Sauli had written. By time Beyond Visions found its first full lineup and the band still tried to find its musical identity by experimenting with different styles and eventually they started to bring more metal into the sound. The band went from grunge and rock to a heavier, more melodic metal sound. Beyond Visions played a lot of live shows and continued to shape and take form. The band took a more technical approach when guitarist Alexander and drummer Henrik joined the band. After Sauli left the band the remaining three members together with Rebecka gave the band a special and unique sound. In October 2013 the band released their debut album with support from the record label “Sliptrick Records”. The album as well as the band received mostly good and laudatory reviews. Now when Beyond Visions is a quartet with Erik on the drums. Erik brings a punchier and more rythm driven sound yet keeping with the heavier and booming tones of bass player Ludvig. With a foundation like that paired with Alex’s guitar riffing it all comes together perfectly with the arrangements and melodies to bring an energetic and lively listening experience guided by the gentle yet strong voice of Rebecka. The 27th of October the band will realease their new album "Catch 22" on the record label Bleeding Records. Metal band from Stockholm, Sweden
