JOE JORDAN’S EXPERIMENT (JJX) is a full blast rock band from Philadelphia, PA whose genre bending music and high energy performances have continued to excite audiences and earn the band national exposure. The JJX sound is an addictive fusion of rock, funk, blues, and metal, creating a new kind of soul driving music with Joe on guitar and vocals, Jacqui “Mah Doox” Gore (Joe's Mom) on drums and Kevin Prendergast on bass. Since its inception in 2007 the band has had the honor of working alongside many renowned artists (Living Colour, Erykah Badu, Eric Gales, Angelo Moore of Fishbone, The Memorials), self-released their debut EP “Twisted Visions” (available at all major online retailers) and booked tours independently which culminated in appearances at Juneteenth Fest( 2010), Utah Arts Fest (2010 & 2012), Sundance Film Fest(2011), Freedomfest (2011), AfroPunk Fest (2012), on CBS News and most recently the CBGB Festival (2013). Currently, the band is working on their first full studio LP "Lemonade" set for release in 2014.
