Papermoons

Papermoons' is the moniker under which Matt Clark and Daniel Hawkins have been releasing and performing music now for 7 years. In 2007 they issued their first effort in the form of a now critically acclaimed 7" EP on Team Science Records. Following this was the groups first full length, New Tales, which was originally released as a CD in 2008 through the Team Science label. The record appeared on a handful of year-end lists as well as being selected as 'album of the year' by the Houston Free Press in 2008. In 2009 The band toured the United States heavily while Deep Elm Records reissued 'New Tales' as a digital product. Though they never officially disbanded, Papermoons' took a few years off from writing and touring to attend to their personal lives. In 2010 and 2011 Papermoons' music was featured on several MTV network programs as well as on certain Apple brand products.
