East From West

We're a band from Aiken, South Carolina (Across the Savannah River from Augusta, Georgia). We've been playing music for about 2 years now. Our goal is to utilize our talents that God has blessed each of us with and create passionate music. ----------------------------------------------------------- We have a rock based sound with many other influences shaping us into something more. We like to describe our music as hard hitting. Heavy guitar tones, melodic lead guitar lines, hard hitting bass guitar and drums, along with some clean/beefy/gritty vocals make up our unique sound that sets us apart from many bands of today's scene. ----------------------------------------------------------- We are very independent and love what we do. We are all followers of Christ and love to share the gospel given the opportunity. We all have other things going on in our lives such as work, school, and families. Despite our busy lives, we find the time to put focus towards the band and work on writing music, recording music, and also playing shows. ----------------------------------------------------------- We have shared the stage with many different bands. Some notable bands are: Hawthorne Heights, Emery, Wolves At The Gate, Sent By Ravens, Set It Off, Lydia, The Wedding, and Satellites and Sirens just to name a few. Slowly working our way through the through music scene, we're willing to put forth some work to try and spread the name East From West around. ----------------------------------------------------------- The band was started as a project to have fun and at the same time show our passion towards God. Who knows what God has in store for us. In the meantime, we'll be playing shows, putting out new music, and building our fan base. We love meeting new people! ----------------------------------------------------------- We recently just recorded a 5 song EP with producer John Harrell (Sent By Ravens, Set It Off, Divided By Friday).
