Brendan Adams is an unsuspecting artist who will surprise his listeners with soulful tunes combined with poetic lyrics. In his songwriting he fuses various genres and aims to express feelings that cross all borders. Hailing from Cape Town, South Africa Brendan grew up in a Vibrant city full of music. Reggae, soul, hip hop, pop. Biggest influences being, Ray Charles, Bob Dylan, Stevie wonder, Sting, Lenny Kravitz right up to Jamiroquai and marron 5, He belongs to a new generation of South African artists who grew up with a taste of the greater world and all its advantages, while at the same time dealing with the social hardships inherent to the Capetonian youth of his time. The uniqueness of his experience shines through in his music, and is definitely worth a listen!
