About Jazzkamikaze
Supersonic Revolutions is the title of JazzKamikaze's new album which hits earth March 2010. The album marks a new chapter of musical genres and sends the five Scandinavian captains of the Kamikaze-super-spaceship on far more pioneering adventures. "Supersonic Revolutions" is the primitive forces of rock music mixed with intricate jazz progressions, pulsating beats of electro, the grandiosity of classical music performed with the attitude of punk. Since the arrival of the band back in 2005 they have established themselves in record-breaking-time as a fiercely and powerful act to be reckoned with. As early as 2005 they won "Young Jazz" and "Young Nordic Jazz Comets", two prestigious talent competitions in Northern Europe. This marked the take off of one the most international touring acts in Denmark in recent years with tour activity on 4-5 continents a year. It was during the New York mix sessions of the band's 2007-release, Travelling at the Speed of Sound, that the band was noticed by the VP's of Sony Studios. The following year JazzKamikaze signed with SevenSeas Music, a newly-founded American/Japanese record label who is releasing the new album. "The title is ambiguous. It's about our inner revolution and evolution as a band. More importantly, it reflects our desire to revolt music of today. The supersonic element comes natural... it's JazzKamikaze". Supersonic Revolutions arrives March 8th 2010 "The Return of JazzKamikaze" released February 2012
