The place was packed but was easy-going, everyone just having a good time. Sound was pretty good but the vocals were somewhat overpowering and a little screechie. When PE came on they pushed the PA a bit, I don't think they had quite enough power, it was not as loud as a metal show. They played a decently long set, not all my favorites but overall was a pretty good show.
The show was amazing! So many old school hip hop and rap legends in the same show. All the acts were amazing especially Sugar Hill Gang, Mobb Deep, Busy Bee, Naughty By Nature and of course the greatest hip hop group of all time, Public Enemy. PE put on an amazing performance as well as Ice-T!
Awesome show as usual, plus a guitar instrumental tribute to Prince that left me misty-eyed and a tribute to Buffalo's own Rick James which left me jamming. I swear PE gets better every time I see them perform! Classic hip hop at it's absolute best!!!
