About The Receivers
Starting as they mean to go on, The Receivers played their first two gigs in the same night. Since early 2017, the band have been building quite a fan-base by frequently gigging around their home county of Yorkshire. As well as playing to large audiences at home in York, the band have gathered a following in York, the band quickly gathered a following in neighbouring cities, Leeds, Doncaster & Sheffield.
Influenced by most great rock bands of the past 30 years (Joy Division, Oasis, Interpol, Muse and The Cribs to name a few) the indie rock four piece signed to Alya Records in March 2017 and released their debut EP, Crescent Moon Heart on 15th September 2017.
