Tide

The story began in the late 90s in Amsterdam, where the half of its current members lived and created music at the time. Namely, in 1998, Kevin Koradin left Slovenia for Amsterdam (Netherlands) where he was gathering experience as a studio musician. There he met the Danish “devilish” drummer Mikkel Brink. They were soon joined by Kenji Hino, a well-known Japanese bass player, whose father is a famous jazz player Terumasa Hino. Kenji worked with Kevin and Mikkel in recording of the demo tapes. Later that year, in Copenhagen, Kevin again met up with Mikkel, who had just finished his tour of Japan. A week of conversations and parties resulted in making of a new band. In shortage of bass players, Mikkel and Kevin talked Matej Batelič into joining them, and together they created a smashing trio. This was the official beginning of the band Tide.
