Sandbox Bullies

Current Members: Robbie Bell,Jason Carman, William Corner jr first album..ROCK N ROLL WOMAN...on itunes,,c.d. baby, just played hootenanny 2012 ,,, and doing rockabilly reunion 2013 Bio:Sandbox Bullies; In the fall of 1997-98, the founding members of Sandbox Bullies were; Robert Bell (Stringbean), Darrel Landpher (Detox), Woltan Martinez, Robert Todd Anderson (Sick Boy) & Tommy Dube (Smooth). After Learning I, Robert Bell, was a guitar player, Detox (the nickname for Landpher because of his trips in and out of detox facilities) , approached me about forming a band. So ,we got together and, musically, things began to click. After deciding on the band name, Sandbox Bullies, it was on! As we went to work writing material, personal problems and various distractions caused Anderson & Landpher to quit, or they were M.I.A. Our bass player (Dube) wasn’t making it to practice, so we found a replacment in Tommy Helms. Members have come and gone and the band has remained....... We have played with numerous bands including, but not limited to: Peoria Traverse and the Second Hand Radio, The Racket, Craic Haus, Cold Blue Rebels, Hellbound Hayride,Hardfell Hearts,Tawny and the Replaceables, Blazing Haily, Kill Allen Wrench, Shot to Hell, Boobie Trap,Three Bad Jacks, Hillbilly Hellcats, Zombie Ghost Train ,Brass Tax, Bucksworth, The Rockets, Undercity Kings ,Hotrod Night, Death by Stereo, No Dice,The Aftershocks,The Skunx,The Border Hoppin Boys, Ready for Vegas, The Kracks, The Peacocks,The Henchmen,The Howlers, Black Rose Phantoms, Los Infernos, The White Walls,The Riff Raffs, Death Valley Drifters, The Cosmic Creeps,The Angry Samones, The BBQ Kings, and Agent Orange,just to name a few! Mixing styles of Punk, Blues, Rock and/or Psychobilly or pretty much whatever we feel like playing. (Ska For example) We have just finished and released our full Length C.D. "Rock n Roll Woman" We are playing a lot of shows and having a good time! Things are going well, and getting better! Oh! and just for the record WE are the Original and One and Only Sandbox Bullies!
