White valentine

With a plethora of musical tastes and backgrounds ranging from Rock to Punk to Progressive and Metal the band White Valentine shows no limitations with their writing ability and style. Starting in June 2008 with a solid four piece line up White Valentine has done nothing but try to break the mould of today's boring repetitive progressive rock scene. With music influenced by bands such as Porcupine Tree, Blackfield, Kings of Leon, Band of Horses and Nickleback the band mixes Rock and song writing together seamlessly. The vocals are a mixture of Steve Wilson and Caleb Followill with lyrics that have a definite social conscience. This band tries their hardest to be real to everyone they come in contact with and be as entertaining as humanly possible. After playing a countless number of shows in the last two years, across Doncaster and the Yorkshire area, White Valentine is preparing to start a new chapter. They are recording their debut full length album which will be completed by January 2012. They are releasing it independently as a testament to all their hard work over the last two years. After the CD's release the band is planning on continuing to play shows for anyone and everyone into the New Year, while also searching for a label to possibly call home. So be ready and gear up for the White Valentine onslaught to begin with this band as they make a name for themselves.
