About Chantelle Delaney

Most people would be flabbergasted to know that all-round talent and genuinely wonderful lass Chantelle Delaney has achieved so much at such a young age. Having taken the bull very strongly by the horns from early on, Chantelle trained at the very prestigious Trinity College of London Academy. Not only was Chantelle asked personally to attend Olivia Newton-John’s “Great Walk to Beijing” by Newton-John herself for charity alongside creative heavyweights like Sir Cliff Richard, Joan Rivers and Danni Minogue, she was also personally invited to perform a duet of one of Olivia’s hits with her to a sold out audience at the State Theatre in Sydney . Chantelle also appeared on the ABC TV hit documentary "Doesn't Everyone Want a Golden Guitar?" at the mere age of ten and at only seventeen years old, was awarded the truly great honor of a medal from the ‘Order of Australia’ association for Outstanding Achievement in Music, and for her contributions to the Australian music industry. This award came following a slew of visits to the most remote parts of Australia as a member of a team teaching and promoting music to children. Chantelle’s music itself is a wide-spanning kaleidoscope of genre and emotion which is administered in Chantelle’s crystal-clear, ethereal voice that can switch from sweet to spicy and back again in one verse. “I want my album to reflect the wonderful journey I have had so far and continue to take as an artist. I want the songs on my album to be positive, warm and spontaneous” she continues. “Even the songs that aren’t about happy experiences have a sense of being in control of your life and moving in a good direction”. So as we all anxiously await- seat edges now frayed, no doubt!- to see what she does next, one thing can be made quite clear thus far: if it’s Chantelle Delaney, you’re gonna love it.
