Katrina Burgoyne is an Australian-born, Nashville-based country music singer-songwriter hailing from Gunnedah, New South Wales. Her passion for music ignited at age nine during a family journey through the Australian outback, inspiring her to learn guitar and compose songs around the campfire.
Throughout her career, Katrina has achieved notable success, including four top 10 singles, a top 10 ARIA-charting album, and two Country Music Association of Australia (CMAA) nominations. Her songwriting prowess has led to over 70 published works and cuts across three continents—North America, Australia, and Europe.
In 2017, Katrina relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, with just three suitcases, a guitar, and a dream to make her mark on American country music. Collaborating with her husband, audio engineer and producer Steve Kinney, she has been crafting a sound influenced by her early musical inspirations, aiming to create uplifting, stadium-ready songs.
In April 2024, Katrina and Steve welcomed their daughter, Poppy Rae, into the world. Reflecting on this new chapter, Katrina expressed, "The love I feel for her is indescribable, and my heart has never been so full."
Katrina continues to pursue her goal of becoming the first Australian female artist in three decades to make a significant impact on the American country music scene, sharing her journey and music with audiences worldwide.
