The Billionaires

The Billionaires first came together in 2013 when frontman JF, with a head full of ideas and songs, approached his friend Alex, bluesman extraordinaire, and their first drummer (and founding member) Pat to form a band. They jammed, wrote more songs and took the leap when they played their first show at Hémisphère Gauche (without a bassist, that's how hungry they were!), which was a whopping success. A few shows later, Kenny joined the band and everyone let out a sigh of relief; an extra layer of funk, groove and creativity was added to the mix. In 2014, the boys recorded their first EP, a four track bombshell, which they released at a launch party at Petit Campus. An epic Battle of the Bands (Landmark Montreal Events), more gigs and a change in personnel (Pedro Osorio, master of chops, joined the band in 2017) were what came next. What are the next steps you ask? Well, the guys just recorded a single, which they'll be releasing in May 2017, they're shooting a video clip for it, and in the fall of 2017, they'll be recording their first full length album!
