The Band of Willies

“Sweet and Dirty Rock ‘n Blues”. That’s how the Band of Willies describes its own music. With influences going from the early delta-blues men, over the British hard-rock interpretation and its nowadays revival, this 4-men blues-rock band knows what it stands for. Founded in 2010 in Oudenaarde, Belgium, the young blues-rockers (average age 21) already released a CD “Revolution” and an EP “Black Crow Sessions”, which they recorded fall 2012 in the Motormusic Studios Mechelen. They were picked out by Belgian blues-man Lightnin’ Guy to open up for him at a couple of gigs, and played at FihP , Crammerock, 4AD,.. They recently won several local rock rally’s such as Red Rock Rally, Student Rock Rally,… A delta-mud, electrifying wall of sound! Don’t miss it!
