Tired

Tired was formed in the Summer of 2010 by singer/guitarist Sean Sweeny, drummer Jeremy Zsupnik & bass player Brian Grover. Formed out of the ashes of previous bands, they came together to create something rare, aiming to fill a void in the current musical landscape, bringing back callow yet refined authenticity. They have been described as the love child of having the rhythmic pulse of Fugazi, the raw strength of Shellac & the dynamic vocal styling of Karate. The trio spent the first few months of their time together in the studio writing and recording. The band’s first EP, “tired", was recorded & mixed by Brian Grover and mastered by Mark Chalecki (FIDLAR, Surfer Blood, Liars). It was released digitally & on vinyl in July of 2011 on Bellwether Record Company. After playing shows in support of the release, sharing the stage with the likes of Horse The Band, Emerson Star & Faker (Australia), they were inspired to get back into the studio to begin working on their debut full length. In April of 2013, “Entropy Academia” was released digitally through Bellwether Record Company. In August of 2015, the full length will be released for the first time on vinyl. Having parted ways with Zsupnik, the trio has found a new energy with the addition of drummer Bob Sommer.
